These are the best bar ends! They continually take a beating and come back for more - I typically have this set of bar ends for 8-18 months. I have never had a pair explode on me.
They are cheap, especially when compared to metal.
Metal bar ends are cool, I've ran a lot of them, but they can get dangerous with sharp edges. I've seen people get bar ends to the gut and it ain't good, so I'd rather avoid that medical bill.
