Stay Strong SS Ti-3al Frame - Titanium
Stay Strong SS Ti-3al Frame - Titanium
-
Stay Strong have changed the game with their Titanium constructed Ti3al frame!
The Ti3al is made from the finest grade of titanium and welded in an oxygen free atmosphere for the best quality finish and durability. Weighing in at a mere 3lbs this frame will feel drastically lighter and more responsive than what you are use to.
Designed to excel at the trails, pump track or bowl thanks to its classic stable geometry which just loves to go fast. Some nice touches like the custom tapered rear triangle, machined head tube and super low welded on brake mounts add to the premium feel and attention to detail. The frame features 10mm micro dropouts which are only 4mm thick (thanks to the superior strength of titanium) that really look the part when paired with some 10mm dome female bolts.
This is a no compromise frame designed to deliver the ultimate riding experience especially at the trails, pump track or bowl and is not designed for peg use. Useful things to know include that the there is ample tire clearance up to 2.4” as well as brake/sprocket clearance from 25t to 36t and a removable titanium seat clamp included in the package. As you would expect the frame runs a Mid BB and Integrated head tube. Supplied with a sticker sheet with a few different options to apply the graphics yourself.
A note on Titanium; This frame has no paint finish. Thanks to the properties of Titanium there is no need to paint or lacquer the frame as Titanium will not rust or corrode at all and will remain looking as good as new forever. Titanium will not flex as much as traditional steel frames yet does have “magical” dampening properties which makes the ride feel smoother and less harsh than regular frames.
The frame is made to the highest possible standards and is not intended for heavy street or peg use. Note that there is no warranty against bending or breaking of Titanium frames due to rider abuse or wear and tear which falls outside of manufacturing defects or materials but rest assured that this frame is designed and built to be light and bullet proof in its intended riding disciplines.
